7 Useful SELF-DEFENSE Techniques You Should Know About!

If you travel alone or are afraid to, and get scared after seeing some pair of eyes staring at you, you might want to know a way how you can defend yourself in case of any mishaps. Hence, here's 7 useful self-defense techniques you should know about. 

These self-defense techniques are not only easy to learn but effective too. So go ahead!


1. Defense from Back :

In case someone grabs you from the back :
 Step 1: Squat a little, contain all your power and hit the opponent from the back of your head on his forehead and or a little above. If you can't reach his forehead, aim for neck, nose or chin. 
 Step 2: Bend and grab his one leg to make him fall.
 Step 3: Once the opponent is down, make sure to give him a resistance, like kicking or punching hardly so that until he gets up, you can find yourself in a safe place. 


2. Defense for Front :

If the opponent grabs your from the front :
 Step 1: Give him a little push by knocking the top of your forehead with all the force on his forehead, chin or nose. 
 Step 2: Be sure to give a powerful kick on his groins and run.


3. Defense against Choking :

In case the opponent tries to choke you do not panic and before you start to loose consciousness :
 Step 1: Put pressure with your one hand from which the opponent is choking you 
 Step 2: With the other hand, pinch his eyes from your fingertips and keep your thumb in middle of his upper lip and teeth and by making a claw, pinch hard.


4. Defense against Hair-Grab:

This is a common way the opponent may use, especially if you have long hair. Therefore, remember not to focus on the pain and instantly do the following: 
 Step 1: Grab his hand from both of your hands tightly.
 Step 2: Rotate backwards at a fast speed and twist his hands with all your power. 
 Step 3: Kick on the groin and run.


5. Defense from Side/Back :

If the opponent holds your from back or side and you're hands are not bounded :
 Step 1: Use your elbow of the hand nearest to him and give him a powerful elbow punch, aiming his eyes, mouth or nose.  
 Step 2: Forcefully give him an elbow punch on his stomach. Run.


6. Defense against Lean :

The opponent may try to corner you by leaning upon you while you're standing with your back touching a no-escape object like a wall. Just follow these instructions and run :
 Option 1: Straighten your forearm and your palm. Push your fingertips forcefully in the underarms of your opponent.
 Option 2: Punch your opponent in his underarms. 
 Option 3: Punch your opponent on the chin, nose or mouth.
 Option 4: Forcefully knock your his chin, nose or mouth using the top of your forehead. 


7. Mains : 

 Keep a note and remember the weak parts of human body. If none of the above mentioned techniques are possible, think of a stimulus friendly technique and attack on the weak points mentioned above.
